Video game publisher SEGA says that it is interested in seeing the newly acquired Atlus work to revive some of the classic titles from its back catalogue that have received limited attention in the past few years.

Naoya Tsurumi, the chief operating officer at the company, states in a Famitsu interview translated by Siliconera that he wants to have a variety of genres that appeal to a wide range of potential players.

He adds, “While we have no intention of forcing this, we’d definitely love to have them utilize any of Sega’s dormant IPs.”

Fans have suggested that the most interesting titles for Atlus could be Sakura Wars, Jet Set Radio, and Space Channel 5.

The CEO has not yet confirmed that any of them is at the moment getting a remake.

Atlus is also working to launch Persona 5 and a number of spin-offs for the franchise.
