Much to the delight of older gamers and those still craving for 90's games, SEGA has decided to revive some of their most successful games. These games will be ported from the SEGA Genesis game console, onto the latest Nintendo creation, the Wii.

The list of games that SEGA has decided to share with future Wii owners include games like: Sonic the Hedgehog,
Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Columns, Ecco the Dolphin, Gunstar Heroes, Space Harrier II, Toe Jam and Earl, Ristar and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. If none of these games sounds familiar, go to your parents and ask them to explain to you what they are about.

Maybe they are busy so let's do a short reminder. You probably all know a little bit about Sonic. What you do not know is that the first game of the series was released back in 1991 and that Sonic, the speedy hedgehog, is 15 years old.

Another game from SEGA that will be ported onto the Wii is Golden Axe. This arcade fighting game was released back in 1988 and it focuses on three heroes: Tyris, Ax and Gilius. They have to protect the kingdom of Yuria, but they must first rescue the king and his daughter who were kidnapped by Death Adder.

Maybe some will enjoy these games on the Wii, some others will not. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on them, as just mentioning them has brought back some nice memories.

I've always loved Sonic Games, but only recently have I ever played 90's Sonic Games. I wished I owned a Genesis.
