Video game publisher SEGA has announced that Daytona USA, its well known classic arcade racer, will be relaunched on the Xbox Live Arcade service from Microsoft and on the PlayStation Network from Sony.

The game will be delivered on October 25 on the PlayStation 3 for 9.99 dollars in North America and for 800 Microsoft Points on the XBLA one day later.

Europe will get Daytona USA in late November.

The update version of the arcade racing game will have enhanced graphics for current generation home consoles, support for steering wheels like the ones created by Logitech and support for online multiplayer.

The game also has the original soundtrack, one of the most recognizable in the world of gaming, and SEGA is adding Karaoke Mode for those who want to sing along.

The game modes will include: Arcade, Survival and Time Trial, while online multiplayer will allow up to eight players to compete against another.
