Samsung has released a new handset on the Korean market. The SCH-V940 is a slider music phone which has a similar design with the European SGH-E900, including the touch pad.

The phone operates in CDMA 800/1900MHz networks and supports the EV-DO standard for data transfer at high speeds.

Support for memory expansion is not included, but the internal memory of 1 GB makes up for it.

A main TFT LCD display which supports a resolution of 240 x 320 and 262k can be used to view pictures or video captured with the built in 1.3 megapixel camera.

An MP3 player allows users to listen to music, while a music equalizer adjusts the audio quality.

File transfer to/from the PC is possible due to a USB 2.0 port. The handset measures 93mm x 46mm x 16mm and weighs 90 grams.
