SBSH Papyrus 1.3 was released about a month ago. As many people have complained that they are unable to use it on their Nokia E90 devices, the software has quickly turned to developing solutions. The results are here for everyone to enjoy.

The application supports QWERTY keypads and has an architecture especially designed for smartphones. It also packs the automatic layout for use on landscape and portrait screens. Papyrus 1.3 makes the best of the large display screens that this type of evolved devices has to offer.

At the time of the software's release, Amit Regev, SBSH Mobile Software CEO said that "With the new additional PISP branding we believe we will be able to form together a complete solution for mobile device users that will help users to manage their agenda using a Pocket PC or a SmartPhone. With upcoming Papyrus/PISP updates we will focus on porting many of the powerful features Pocket Informant offers today for Pocket PC users, allowing users to use the same advanced features on their SmartPhone and vice-versa, making the transition of information much easier".

Nokia E90 Communicator has been experiencing some problems in supporting this application. The problem seems to have been the high resolution screen of the smartphone that few other devices manage to provide.

SBSH Mobile Software has updated its replacement PIM application Papyrus to v1.3. The interface has been completely redesigned to match Nokia E90's wide screen. Actually, the upgrade concerns both the handset's internal and external screens.

Right from the moment that the application has been released, developers have also promised a new major update for Papyrus/PISP to version 1.3. This was intended to bring major work on user-experience aspects for SmartPhone devices with landscape screens and QWERTY keyboard, as well as a complete re-design of the monthly display among other features.
