Jennifer Lawrence was one of the best dressed women of the night at the SAG Awards 2013 held in Los Angeles last night, but that did not save her from a rather awkward (more so than embarrassing) wardrobe malfunction.

Jennifer was hugging friends and family as her name was called out as
winner of the Best Female Actor in a Leading Role award, when someone placed a chair on her trail – actually, this seems to have happened twice.
At one point, it seemed as if the dress ripped in two, which Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts also seem to have noticed.
JustJared notes that chances are the dress didn’t rip, since “The gown is a tiered gown, and that division in the material is purposefully there.”
However,
photos of Jennifer on the red carpet show that the front side of the dress was a single piece, so I’d say that tear in it was the real deal.
Either way, she handled herself with class.
