Among the games that received the most attention during Microsoft's E3 2013 press conference was Ryse: Son of Rome.

This is a new title from Crytek exclusive to the Xbox One next-gen console, and the gameplay demonstration video is now available for all.

Ryse was presented to the world back in 2011 as a Kinect-powered game but, since then, both Crytek and Microsoft have been silent on the matter.

Now, after a teaser campaign, Ryse: Son of Rome has been confirmed for the Xbox One next-gen console.

The title's re-reveal was accompanied by a lengthy direct gameplay demonstration that showcased the gorgeous visuals of the game, thanks to Crytek's CryEngine 3 technology, and its actual mechanics, that place a big emphasis on quick-time events.

Check out the gameplay demonstration in the video above.
