Video game developer Crytek announces that all those who pre-order the upcoming Ryse: Son of Rome on the PC will be able to get access to the soundtrack of the title when it is finally launched on October 10, with a number of tracks that are designed to evoke the grandiosity and the fading power of the Ancient empire.

The new trailer for the video game is designed to allow players who have not yet experienced it to see the level of graphics quality they will get access to and the complex gameplay mechanics, which introduce both brutal close quarter engagements and long range combat.

Ryse: Son of Rome is a video game that uses the entire processing power of modern PCs in order to bring Roman locations and characters back to life with plenty of details and very smooth animations.

The game was originally launched on the Xbox One home console from Microsoft when it was first available late in November 2013.

It served as a showcase for the power of the new platform and managed to reach solid sales, even if they were not as high as Crytek was originally aiming for.

The developers have suggested that the title needs to perform well on the PC in order for the full sequel to be taken into account.
