Crytek has announced its lineup of titles for the upcoming Gamescom 2014, informing attendees of the game show that they'll be able to try out Arena of Fate and the PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome.

In addition to the games, Crytek will also be present in the Gamescom Business Center, where it will be showcasing its latest development demo of CryEngine, its cutting-edge video game creation tool.

Ryse: Son of Rome was announced for PC last week, with Crytek self-publishing the digital edition of the action-adventure title, and Deep Silver taking care of the physical retail edition.

The game is an Xbox One exclusive for now, and follows the story of Marius Titus, a Roman general, recounting the story of his life-long quest for vengeance for the slaying of his family, eventually rising to become the hero that saves the Roman Empire.

Ryse: Son of Rome boasts some of the most impressive visuals available on the Xbox One, so impressive in fact that it won a Siggraph award for real-time graphics. In case you're wondering just how good the game will look on PC, have a look at the screenshots in the gallery below.

The game is scheduled to come to PC sometime this fall, bundled with all the DLC released so far, and developer Crytek says that it will support 4K resolution, provided, of course, that your rig can run it.
