Even if Crytek wasn't present at the Xbox One reveal event yesterday, the company has confirmed that Ryse, the older game that was confirmed for the Xbox 360 a few years ago, will be released for the Xbox One.

The title is going to support input from both the new console's controller and from its improved Kinect.

Ryse was presented as a great-looking first-person brawler that was supposed to appear on the Xbox 360 and use the Kinect sensor for control input.

Since its presentation back in 2011, the game has been shrouded in a veil of secrecy.

Now, after the reveal of the Xbox One, Crytek has set up a countdown page that anticipates a formal reveal at E3 2013 next month.

The page also mentions that Ryse is an exclusive Xbox One game that features controller-based gameplay that's enhanced by the Kinect.

The tagline of the game is "fight as a solder, lead as a general, rise as a legend."
