14 DAY TRIAL // Rygel, a home media solution (UPnP AV MediaServer) that allows users to easily share audio, video, and pictures to other devices, is now at version 0.17.3.
With Rygel, users will be able to browse from the TV or PS3 the media collection on a PC running GNOME, and they will have the possibility to play any of said media.
Highlights of Rygel 0.17.3:
• The --enable-test-plugin configure option has been removed; • The serialization of containers to DIDL_S playlist format is now possible; • Thumbnails are now generated for native files only; • Support for playlist items has been added; • Media art extraction has been re-enabled.
