Ryan Reynolds is not only incredibly handsome, he’s also very funny. As of late, despite the media frenzy around his personal life and divorce from Scarlett Johansson, he’s also been very busy: right now, for instance, he’s promoting the upcoming “Green Lantern.”

Details reporter Adam Sachs flew to Cape Town, where Ryan is shooting for the thriller “Safe House” with Denzel Washington, for the chance to talk to him: and he definitely had a lot of interesting things to say.

For starters, Ryan remains as fiercely protective of his personal life as he was before the divorce from Scarlett, which means he will draw the line to questions about it and the events that led up to it.

“I’ll say this: the media was not invited to my marriage, and they’re definitely not invited into the divorce,” the actor says.

He will, however, offer fans a glimpse into how he’s like when he’s not doing promotional work: he may seem like a cutie, but he’s mean and he’s dangerous and he only drinks tears from baby pandas to quench his thirst.

“You want to see what I’m like when we turn the tape recorder off? I slit throats, that’s what I do. I only drink panda tears,” he says.

“Do not bring me water. Do not bring me filtered water. I want the tears of a newborn panda, and I will have them – because I’m Ryan Reynolds!” the actor jokes.

On a more serious note, asked about being a Jack of all trades in terms of moviemaking, in the sense that he can do various genres and has not been typecast yet, Ryan says that’s a situation he’d like to never change.

“I’m not declaring nothing, man! I’m getting away with something I’d like to continue getting away with,” he says.

“Green Lantern” is scheduled for release on June 17. For the full interview with Details, see here.
