14 DAY TRIAL // This is kind of a “good news/ bad news” scenario. If you love Ryan Gosling, this is good news; but if you were rooting for the Gosling-Mendes couple, then this is bad news. Several media outlets are reporting that the couple has broken up for good sometime around Christmas.
The two actors were rumored to have hit on rocky shores after they made headlines with their relationship. Celebuzz is saying that their split last year is the reason they haven't been spotted together in 2014 yet.
An insider shades some light on the situation, “There is no ill will. Neither is rushing out to date other people. They just knew it was time.” This comes after reports that the couple was worried their relation was quickly taking them towards the altar and neither of them felt it was the right thing.
Meanwhile, Eva Mendes, 39, has recently sparked pregnancy rumors when she chose to avoid the full body scanner at LAX airport, opting instead for a pat down. This led many to believe that she is carrying Gosling's child.
She has told the press at some point that “I'd like to be making babies. But I'm not, so I'm making movies,” which was then considered a direct hint towards her partner Gosling as to what her plans for their future were.
Gosling is now believed to be back in his native Canada, where he's taking time to get his thoughts in order. Reports from insiders say that “He packed up and moved back to Canada for awhile. He felt like he needed some time out of the limelight to refocus.”
The actors began their romantic involvement after they met on the set of the film “The Place Beyond the Pines” last year. Now, less than a year later, it looks as though they've already called it quits. On the upshot, Ryan is not back on the market, as is Eva, for those of you who think they might have a shot.
