Ryan Gosling Goes Very Light Blonde

He usually looks like the guy every female fan would take home to mother, but Ryan Gosling is now rocking a look that would make him more suitable as the “bad boy you date but never take home.” Fortunately, it’s only for a new movie.

Now on the silver screen in most territories in “Crazy Stupid Love,” Ryan is already working hard on a new movie, hence the new look.

However, before word of that got out, fans only had a series of shots of him on a dirt bike, with bleached blonde hair and lots of tattoos – and some of them immediately assumed the worst.

People magazine says they shouldn’t fret: the change is only temporary, while Ryan is working on a new project.

“Ryan, is that you? Crazy, Stupid, Love star Ryan Gosling showed off a brand-new do in upstate New York on Wednesday, a major change from the light brown hue he’s been sporting lately,” the magazine writes.

“But just like Ben Affleck’s new cut, Gosling’s change is only temporary: according to reports, it’s for his new film, The Place Beyond the Pines,” adds the same publication.

It wasn’t just the hair that was different: Ryan was also covered in tattoos, including one on his cheek, that looked like a tear, or something of the sorts.

“In fact, the actor wasn’t quite looking like himself on Wednesday, not only because of the hair, but thanks to a series of tattoos – including one on his face. However, the star is so adorable — hello, he brought his dog to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon – that we love him no matter how he looks,” People concludes.

“The Place Beyond the Pines” is scheduled for release in 2013 and a blonde Ryan Gosling isn’t the only treat fans should expect from it.

The drama also stars Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, Greta Gerwig and Ray Liotta.
