Two Russians known for their insane urban climbing passion reached the top of one of the highest buildings in the heart of Hong Kong and hacked a huge display screen mounted on top of it.

The deed was performed by Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Raskalov, known under the online moniker “on the roofs,” with the help of three accomplices.

They broke into the computer system of the billboard and changed the regular advertisements displayed for the residents. No foul language or misleading text was used, the duo making a big “WHAT’S UP HONG KONG” visible on the screen.

Apart from this, they fed a video stream of them climbing the structure from the GoPro camera they had mounted on their heads.

Makhorov and Raskalov published the video online, whose description read:

“During our last visit in Hong Kong, not only did we take a lot of awesome pictures, but we also made a video which was shot a few hours before our flight to Tokyo. The venue is the very heart of Hong Kong, a skyscraper with a huge billboard.”

They also thanked their accomplices, saying that the entire experience wouldn’t have been possible without their help.

The images captured by the climbers are absolutely stunning, although they are not suitable for any one suffering from vertigo. Check out the footage below:
