14 DAY TRIAL // A video from Russia makes you cringe as it features a doctor punching and hitting a patient while he is strapped to a bed in the ICU Unit.
*User discretion is advised as the clip contains disturbing, violent images. The Mirror reports that the doctor is Andrey Votyakov who works at the Federal Cardio-Surgery Centre in the Russian city of Perm.
Votyakov was fired when hospital officials saw the CCTV footage of him assaulting the patient, in February.
The man was recovering from a heart condition and he died soon after the clip was captured. The police are investigating but they have not made any charges.
“As soon as I came into the room with my team he started to call me various derogative names. And I just got blown away by it,” Votyakov said in his defense.
