Russell Crowe to Star in Dracula Movie from Eli Roth

For years, Eli Roth has been making small (but just as awesome) horror movies but he's getting ready to make his Hollywood break. He'll be doing so with some help from Russell Crowe, it has emerged.

Deadline says Roth is now working on a Dracula-themed detective story called “Harker,” which sees Scotland Yard detective named Jonathan Harker in hot pursuit of the famous vampire.

Contradictory reports claim Crowe will be playing the lead Harker or Dracula the vampire. For the time being, nothing is certain – except that the role will be pretty meaty.

The aforementioned media outlet notes that Roth and Crowe met on RZA's Kung Fu flick “The Man with the Iron Fists,” which recently got a brand new red band trailer – and impressed fans of the genre with its level of awesomeness.
