Gaijin Games, the indie studio behind the popular Bit.Trip series and the latest Runner 2 installment, has presented a special endless running game that's completely browser-based, in the form of CommanderVideo.

Bit.Trip Runner 2 delighted lots of gamers earlier this year, and those with keen abilities were able to unlock special retro stages.

Now, that retro experience has received its standalone browser-based game, in the form of CommanderVideo.

The endless running experience is procedurally generated and players can constantly play it and never get bored.

The best performances are registered by a leaderboard, and developer Gaijin promises great prizes for the best runners, although it wants to keep everything a secret for now.

There are also unlockable characters, just like in Runner 2, and these can be purchased with the gold bars gathered in the title.

You can try out the game right now at this link.
