14 DAY TRIAL // The team at the Paradox Development Studios continues to offer more details on its upcoming Runemaster with the reveal of a new class, the Berserker, which is designed to use his rage in order to become the most powerful force on the battlefield.
The team explains on the official forums that, “The sting of blades or the burn of fire cannot stop the Berserker. Some legends tell of Berserkers who in their battle rage could not differentiate between friends or foes, and had to be physically restrained at the end of a battle until it was safe to release them, when the battle rage had left them exhausted to the brink of death.”
The Troll Berserker will bite his shield and foam at the mouth, while also becoming immune from blade attacks.
The Dwarf version of the class can smell the fear of the enemies and focus its attacks on the weakest of them.
The Human incarnation of the Berserker feels no pain and often does not remember the actual battle, while the Giant version can target his allies as well as enemies.
The skills of the class include Protective Presence, which increases armor of squad members, Break Armor, designed to deal damage and pierce armor, and Powerful Strike.
