The 6-year-old tiger made a run for it about 3 weeks ago, decided to come back

Towards the beginning of June, a tiger living at a zoo in India pulled a Houdini on the staff at this animal sanctuary.

To put it in a nutshell, the animal got out of its enclosure and disappeared without a trace in the nearby forest.

Recent news on the topic says that the 6-year-old tiger is now back at the Nandan Kanan Zoological Park. Oddly enough, it is there of its own accord. Daily Mail reports that the tiger returned to the zoo this past Sunday, and walked into the animal sanctuary's safari area without even having the courtesy to ask for permission.

Wildlife researchers say that the tiger probably returned to the zoo because it could not adjust to life without Sara, a tigress looked after by staff at the Nandan Kanan Zoological Park.

The zoo's management team and specialists are yet to decide whether it would be best to allow the tiger to continue living close to Sara or relocate him to some other region.
