14 DAY TRIAL // Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle is a pretty exciting upcoming game for the DS. With the release of this trailer, Focus Home Interactive explains how their game is the first to introduce a real point 'n click adventure on Nintendo's DS. The trailer also reveals some of the game's basic features with quite a nifty graphical style and stylus controls, which, according to an official report today, are perfectly tuned for a point 'n click adventure.

And by the looks of it, the report is right. Sure enough, 20 seconds worth of video with one image per second can't allow someone to make a pertinent impression about the whole experience, but again, judging by what we've seen so far (including screens) the game looks like a must have and not just for Nintendo's DS, but for any portable device. Too bad that this handheld version is a DS exclusive, huh PSP owners?
Anyway, PC gamers were the first ones to be acquainted with Runaway. The game sold around a million copies according to the same piece and it is now coming to the Nintendo DS in a new, custom-designed version.

An intuitive zoom system offers excellent visibility when exploring the game's expansive environments. The feature is most noticeable within the trailer Focus Home has released today. Something we're not shown in the video however, is the integrated help system which makes it easier to solve some of the more difficult puzzles.
