The devices are targeted at embedded applications and come in minuscule sizes

SSD maker RunCore has just announced the new RunCore Mini DOM SSD device made specifically for use with advanced embedded SSD devices still using the SATA II interface. Many of you probably don’t know, but there really are lots of embedded applications out there that are fitted with SATA or SATA II interface and require upgrading.

The RunCore Mini DOM is the world’s first single-chip SATA II DOM SSD, and it comes in various shapes and sizes.

RunCore has a presentation video that gives out most of the details about the new additions to its product line.

There are three different physical formats and several models with capacities ranging from 8 GB to 64 GB.

RunCore’s Mini DOMs are certified to work at extreme temperatures, from minus 55 to an amazing 95 degrees Celsius.
