Pieceable, a company that prides itself on making mobile app creation fast, affordable, and simple, has introduced a new service called Pieceable Viewer. It lets developers upload an app to their servers and see it simulated at pieceable.com/viewer/ in a web page where testers can engage with the app without having to sync their iPhones.

Basically, Pieceable Viewer eliminates the fuss a developer has to endure to get his app in the hands of testers, or reviewers, by offering it as a simple URL.

The tester / reviewer clicks on the link, at which point this page opens up with the simulator ready to launch the application in question. It’s that easy, and it completely eliminates the need for the ‘official’ iPhone Simulator in the iOS SDK, or an actual iDevice.

The service targets all types of people and groups of people, as follows:

Agencies - Share works-in-progress with clients without using screen sharing. Let them browse on their own time.

Organizations - Share internal betas with colleagues by sending them a link.

Presenters - Show off your apps from any computer without needing your development environment.

Press / Investors - See demos of iOS apps without having to send around device IDs. Great for first looks.

All developers need to do is add an extra line of code to their application and submit it to Pieceable.

Plans start at $30 a month for 3 people’s access to an app simultaneously, and a maximum of 5 app uploads.

For $60 a month, Pieceable allows 10 people to access an app simultaneously and unlimited uploads.

Links never expire, therefore an application will always be accessible through Pieceable Viewer.

There’s also a free (trial) version which lets developers upload one app and have one viewer test it out for one hour. In this case, the URL expires.
