Did you see 'House of Wax'? If not, maybe it's time you checked it out, because only in this way you will be able to appreciate Paris Hilton's acting talent to the fullest. But then, if you do watch this so-called 'horror' movie (a pretty lame one, but a truly awful, horrendous experience while the heiress appears in it), then you'd have to see 'Bottoms Up' too.
If you thing that 'House of Wax' was bad, let me just tell you that 'Bottoms Up' (not porn, despite the title) is that crappy that it didn't even make it to the theatrical release and was boosted straight to DVD. And, as if all that wasn't enough, Paris is now preparing for a brand new role. What, did you expect all that talent to just rot away from not being used?
Ever since the Tom Putnam-directed project was announced, Paris' name has been attached to it. To speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth, even up to this stage her name is the only one attached. Talk about a star-studded production!
Initially, the romantic comedy was scheduled to begin production this past September but the date was later moved back, probably because of the main star's busy agenda. Now, a start day was set for January 2007, while the completed chef d'oeuvre will come out in 2008. Accordingly, Paris is already hard at work and was spotted by the TMZ paparazzi walking with a script in hand. She was certainly going home to study.
To make the long waiting shorter, 'Hottie and Nottie' (Jeez, the title is even better than Pamela Anderson's 'Blonde and Blonder') is about a young woman (Paris) who refuses to marry her fiancé until he finds the perfect man for her ugly girlfriend. By the looks of things, it's a plot that will certainly stimulate us intellectually (and visually, via the great acting), while also promising to be light and funny.
That being said, maybe Paris should stick to X-rated movies. She is a much better actress when the lights go off and the night vision is on...
