With BlackBerry World 2011 almost over, rumors about RIM's leaked roadmap of mobile devices for 2011 are heating up again.

Although Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 and Blackberry 7 OS have been the stars of the company's event that takes place in Orlando, Florida, it appears that Research in Motion has more goodies under its sleeves.

According to the guys over at BGR, Research in Motion already plans to release a follow-up for its first tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook 2, just in time for holidays.

However, this time the manufacturer decided to go bigger and launch a 10-inch tablet. The unannounced tablet will position the company on both ends of the market with its 7-inch and 10-inch tablets.

Obviously, there is no in-depth information regarding the allegedly upcoming PlayBook 2 tablet's hardware and software, but it would be 'fruitful' for RIM to deliver the device with an updated BlackBerry OS that would include email client, BlackBerry Messenger and other goodies that have been left out.

However, the company seems to have a pretty busy schedule, as the 4G version of the 7-inch PlayBook is not even out on the market, though the device is selling very well according to some hearsay.

Furthermore, it appears that RIM decided to postpone the launch of the newly announced BlackBerry 9900 / 9930 until mid-August for unknown reasons. Both devices were initially scheduled for a June or July release.

And to make things even worse, the company won't be announcing anything new until Blackberry's Developer Conference on October 18th.

It appears that RIM was a bit 'reckless' with the reallocation of resources and put too much into PlayBook at the loss of the entire BlackBerry 7 lineup.

That may be one of the reasons RIM was forced to make some changes to its release schedule for 2011.
