Star Wars 1313 is an ambitious project that aims to create a video game experience set in the well-known universe without appealing to traditional concepts like Jedi and their supernatural powers.

But sources close to the project are telling Kotaku that the game will not be shown during E3 2013, and that it will miss its fall launch date.

Worse, it seems that LucasArts has put the project on the backburner, which means that less resources are devoted to it and cancelation is a possibility.

Work on Star Wars 1313 has been going on since 2009, when LucasArts began working on a project called Underworld.

It seems that George Lucas himself was involved in the development process at some point, and he suggested a number of stories that could be integrated into the open world title.

LucasArts has not commented on the rumors.
