14 DAY TRIAL // Sony is expected to unveil to the world new smartphones in the Xperia family as soon as next month, and rumor has it that the Xperia U might be one of them.
The device is said to be none other than the Sony ST25i ‘Kumquat’ that made it to the headlines a few times before.
Both the Xperia S and the Xperia U are listed, on the Indonesian Postel website (the Indonesian Telecoms Regulatory body), the later featuring the model number ST25i attached to it, XperiaBlog reports.
The smartphone is expected to arrive on shelves before the end of the year, yet specific info on when that might happen hasn’t emerged for the time being.
Sony might make an official announcement on the smartphone next month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, so stay tuned for more. Also, expect the handset to be affordable, though well spec’d.
