Samsung's proprietary bada mobile platform seems to have some success on the smartphone market, as the handset manufacturer recently revealed plans to release the next iteration of the operating system by the end of the year.

While the company is still working on bada 2.0, its bada-powered smartphones are still selling very well, though Samsung still delays the deployment of firmware upgrades.

However, according to the latest rumors, Samsung also plans to launch several bada smartphones by the end of the year, which might be delivered with the latest bada 2.0 platform on board, but the rumors have yet to be confirmed.

Three new unannounced and unheard of Samsung smartphones have just made their appearance on Samsung Russia website, and all three seem to be bada smartphones.

The most interesting seems to be the Samsung GT-S8600, which might be in fact the upcoming Samsung Wave III, that the company will probably announce in the next few weeks.

The other two smartphones are known by the codenames GT-S5360 and GT-S7250D, which suggest that they will be delivered with bada operating system on board, as well.

These rumors are partly confirmed by the fact that the GT-7250D device was also spotted in the bada SDK 2.0, where it was identified as Samsung Wave725.

More importantly, the Wave725 is said to be coming with a HVGA touchscreen display, which would be a first for a bada phone.

Unfortunately, we don't have any additional information regarding the smartphones hardware configurations, but we will probably found out more at IFA 2011, where Samsung will attend between September 2-7.

Although we don't have a picture of the actual Samsung GT-S8600, the successor of the popular Samsung S8500 Wave, it appears that the smartphone will feature a slider form factor.

Stay tuned for more updates on the subject, as we will report live from IFA 2011 starting September 2.
