UK-based carrier O2 is rumored to release the Nokia Lumia 820 Windows Phone 8 device sometime next month. However, word is that the top-tier Lumia 920 won’t be making its way to O2’s airwaves.

For the time being, Nokia Lumia 920 has been confirmed by Everything Everywhere (EE), but no other operators offered details on the matter.

In the same piece of news, WMPoweruser reports that Orange Austria confirmed as well, via customer service, that it won’t be carrying the Nokia Lumia 920 in the near future.

It appears that the Finnish company decided to strike exclusivity deals in each country where the new Lumia smartphones will be launched, so we will have to wait for the official announcement in order to find out which carriers will offer the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820.
