14 DAY TRIAL // Sports and video games have had a very healthy and profitable relationship for quite some time. For both the organizations that sell the rights to teams, players and venues and the gaming companies that are guaranteed a big profit due to the large number of sports fans out there, everything is going very good.
Without a doubt, one of the most popular sports in North America and one that is receiving a lot of fans in other countries also is wrestling. THQ, seeing the opportunity for profit, has already established a yearly franchise, entitled WWE SmackDown vs. Raw, which is selling like proverbial hotcakes, alongside Saints Row 2, thus saving the financially troubled publisher.
But, as always, when there is a lot of money to be made, new opportunities will appear. As such, THQ announced some time ago that it would release the WWE Legends of WrestleMania video game, which would feature famous wrestlers that have fought ever since the sport was inaugurated. Although not much is known, besides the March release date for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it now seems that a fan has comprised a possible playable character list, from all of the trailers and screenshots that THQ had released.

Quite a star studded cast, which will definitely make a lot of wrestling fans interested in this game. But don't forget that, until THQ confirms, denies or releases its own character list, this is still a rumor. Some fighters may or may not appear in the final game. All we can do is wait until March to find out.
