From Software, the Japanese developer that has developed the role playing game Dark Souls, might be in the process of developing downloadable content for the title, with a name registered in the Japan the biggest hint that the DLC will be linked to the main story of the game.

From Software has registered the name Yami no Mori in Japan, which can be translated as Forest of Darkness.

The name certainly seems appropriate for something linked to Dark Souls, which is both hardcore when it comes to its mechanics and poetic in relation to the game world.

Dark Souls has been very successful for From Software, moving more than 1.5 million copies during its first month, and releasing DLC for such a game certainly makes sense, especially if it makes long term fans return to the game.

Recently PC gamers have initiated a petition, which is closing in on 60,000 signatures, to bring Dark Souls to their platform.
