Officially unveiled earlier this year, Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 hit shelves in Europe on March 7, but only a few countries got it.

We reported three weeks ago on the availability of Xcover 2 in Finland where customers could purchase it for €325/$420 off contract.

Today, SammyHub reports the smartphone has just arrived in Germany. Unfortunately, the Xcover 2 has been priced slightly higher in Germany, so customers will be able to get it for no less than €380/$485 outright.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 is a rugged smartphone powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The phone is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, a Mali-400MP GPU, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

In addition, the device sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and features scratch-resistant glass coating.

It is also worth mentioning that Galaxy Xcover 2 is IP67 certified, which means it is dust and water proof (up to 1m for 30 minutes).
