South African rugby player Bryan Habana has tried racing a plane and has managed to outrun it on a 100-meter (328-foot) race.

According to Herald Sun, rugby player Bryan Habana weighs 95 kg (209 pounds) and is 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) tall.

He took on an Airbus A380 superjumbo which is 24 meters (79 feet) tall, and weighs 366,000 kg (806,000 pounds). Its wingspan is roughly 80 meters (362 feet).

However, the aircraft features four engines and it takes off at 225 kmh (140 mph) and flies at 966 kmh (600 mph).

"Habana is fast but had stiff competition with four Trent 900 Rolls-Royce engines, each one producing 70,000 pounds (31,752 kg) of thrust and accelerating very quickly indeed," says Peter Nye, senior first officer on the A380.
