Rrrr, this is something to roar about! This CD player is one sexy unit I'd like to get my hands one. However, it's quite dandy for something it can only play CDs and USB connected sources. But, when it looks so good, who cares how many it can do?

Who's Marantz? I don't really care, I don't know, but I am going to find out! The Japanese company has introduced a brand new personal CR201 CD system. Therefore, Marantz flasg ships one-piece AV system, which is said to actually combine the company's signature with an elegant design line.

Judging by its looks, they did succeed in developing a mirror LED front panel and a compact form shape. When the classy side sliding CD door opens, it gets complimented with a ambient blue LED light, which is said to deliver even more charm to the system. And, frankly, it does look like taken from an UFO.

But, besides its looks, the Marantz CR201 personal CD system features a smart 3D sound reproduction with USB connection for MP3 playback. No to mention its design allows placing the system just about anywhere the owner wants to. Among other specs, the device sports a digital amplifier with built-in speaker system. There is an installed capacity of 6W x 2 inch an 3.5mm stereo mini-jack and USB connection.

The system sports convenient dimension of 298 x 320 x 185mm and weighs about 5.3 kilos, because of its strong resistant metallic armor. I could even do my make up while listening to some Amy Wino on it.

Hold your horses, if you really want one of these babies, you'd better start saving some pennies, as the device is said to cost around 760 bucks a piece. Hopefully, we won't get to see one of those in Puffy's videos so soon...
