Long gone are the days when members of the royalty were celebrated or mourned via large marble or bronze statues! The times are a-changin' and the two princes, William and Harry, are bound to bring some of the modern spirit into Britain's royal house.

For the day marking the tenth anniversary of Princess Diana's death, coinciding with the day that she would have turned 46 years of age, namely July 1, 2007, the two royal offsprings will pay their respects via a star-studded pop concert. The idea is yet in its initial stages of planning, but reports from the media state that they are more than likely to go through with it.

The live concert will probably take place at London's Wembley Stadium and the singers included so far on the list are both from the UK and the US. Sir Elton John is among the many names there, of course. The venue can host up to 90,000 people and the show will also air on national and international television, thus reaching to millions of people worldwide.

The British media informs that William and Harry are doing this as a new and more lively way of celebrating their mother and her life's work. They are planning, quote, 'an upbeat, joyous tribute to her life and work', something to be remembered from this day on.

All the proceeds of the concert will probably go to Princess Diana's pet charities, including the Centrepoint organization, which tries to lend a hand to the homeless people. So far, a spokesperson for the royal family confirmed that the princes are up to something original, but the details still remain sketchy. 'We're considering a number of options on how best to commemorate next year. William and Harry will make a decision in due course', the spokesperson told the media.
