Speculation on the due date of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has been making the rounds since the Palace announced she was expecting, in December. Insiders have now revealed the exact due date, the Daily Mail claims.

Though the Palace said that the Duchess would be giving birth in July, to protect her from unwanted media attention, they did not reveal the exact day.

However, inside sources claim that it’s the 13th of the month and, according to the Mail, Kate and Prince William have already shared the happy news with family and friends.

“Some of Kate and William’s closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently,” says an unnamed tipster.

“They were all discussing the fact that Kate’s baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited,” adds the spy.

The Mail goes on to point that the birth date “falls in the middle of the Coronation Festival, a four-day celebration to mark 60 years since the Queen was crowned,” which would serve as the perfect distraction, if you think about it.

Of course, the Mail is known to be wrong on occasion.

The same tab claims that the Duchess is telling friends that she feels she’s having a baby boy, though it was also one of the many media outlets to write in March that she was having a girl, after she told an official who had presented her with a stuffed toy as a gift that, “This is for my d…” before checking herself.

“The baby is expected to be delivered in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington – the same place William was born – under the supervision of Royal gynaecologists Alan Farthing and Marcus Setchell,” the Mail further reports.

Contacted for comment, a Palace spokesperson stresses that this is just “speculation.”
