Roy Keane Might Not Retire After All

He could play one more season for Celtic

After his emotional "good-bye" in front of the Manchester United fans on Wednesday, the Irishman seems to have another thing coming for his supporters.

He could enlighten their faces one more year on the football field, at Glasgow Rangers. Considering that most of the time he had to sit on the bench - either because of the injuries he suffered or because he didn`t play at his best - Roy Keane wants to show everybody that he can still do it, and wants to say "good-bye" with his head high.

Irish ex-manager, Brian Kerr, seemed very convinced that the Irish legend might still continue on the football field next season: "He wasn`t coming to play for me, he was coming to play for Ireland. And he realized that soon enough. And, one more thing… He had plenty of answers to give and many unfinished business, so he came back. It is the same situation with Celtic now. He should put all his ambition to have a better season next year".

It seems like the end of the Manchester United era does not necessarily mean that Keane will be out for good. Even if he decides not to go on playing, I`m more than convinced there's a coaching position waiting for him at Manchester in the years to come. It`s easy to predict that Manchester will soon look for a new coach to replace Sir Alex Ferguson. And who better to do that than the next Man U legend, Roy Keane?

The Irishman said he will soon make his decision, after spending some time with his family. "Yes" or "No", he will certainly remain in the world he spent more than half of his life in, one way or the other.
