Rovio, the game publisher behind the popular Angry Brids franchise, has made available for purchase and download a new title on Windows Phone devices, in the form of Bad Piggies.

The title has been available on other mobile operating systems out there for quite some time now, but it seems that Rovio felt that it had to be pushed to Microsoft’s mobile OS as well.

The game is available for download as version 1.5.3.0 at the moment, offering support for all Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices out there.

It was made available for download with over 200 levels packed inside, though it is not free. The game sports a price tag of $0.99 (€0.73).

As the game’s name suggests, the main characters in this title are the pigs from Angry Birds, though players will enjoy a completely different experience in this puzzler. In Bad Piggies, users will have to create and pilot a device that will get the pigs to the eggs.

“Create the ultimate flying / crawling / rolling / spinning / crashing device and pilot the pigs safely to the eggs,” Rovio explains in the game’s description.

As usual, the Bad Piggies are after the eggs, but not all things will go according to their plan, and users will have to help them reach their goal.

“Can you create the ultimate flying machine and steer them safely to their destination? Those tricky pigs have a few objects they can use, but they need your help to turn these into the perfect transportation,” Rovio notes.

As mentioned above, the new game arrives on devices with over 200 levels, but more of them should arrive in the not-too-distant future, the publisher explains. Those who will grab the title will be provided with free updates, which will deliver hours and hours of fun.

“Get three stars on every level to unlock 36 more puzzles! HINT: Sometimes you need to play the level several times to achieve all the objectives - try building a new device or steering in a different way to earn all the stars,” the game’s description reads.

According to Rovio, users should also know that the game might include links to social networking websites, as well as direct links to the internet that could get players to browsing web pages. The app might also include advertisements for other Rovio products.
