Verizon Wireless customers interested in purchasing the Rose Gold version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone that has just landed on shelves at the operator will have to wait a bit longer for it to arrive in their hands.

The mobile phone is currently listed on Verizon’s website as on backorder, though it should start shipping to users as soon as January 30.

The 5.7-inch handset was made available for purchase at the carrier earlier this week, but it appears that it has already seen great demand, and that Verizon was forced to push some shipments back.

Considering the fact that the Rose Gold Galaxy Note 3 is available in the US exclusively through Verizon and that it is a limited edition device, it might see further delays in the not too distant future.

The same as the other color versions of the smartphone, the Rose Gold model sports a price tag of $249.99 (€183) at Verizon, but requires signing up for a two-year contract agreement.

The handset comes with a full HD touchscreen display, while being powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. It also features support for 4G LTE, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the usual set of sensors.

Moreover, the mobile phone sports 32GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot for storage expansion, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and front camera for making video calls while on the go.

“More innovative than ever. That's the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Packed with tools to make your life easier, this Android smartphone features a full HD touchscreen, innovative S Pen and long–lasting battery. Pair it with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch so you're never out of touch,” Verizon notes.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 runs under Android 4.3 Jelly Bean at the moment, but Samsung has already started to deliver the Android 4.4 KitKat update for it in some various markets around the world.
