Video game publisher Electronic Arts and Starbreeze Studios have announced that well known Hollywood stars Rosario Dawson and Brian Cox have been chosen to lend their voices to the characters of the upcoming shooter Syndicate.

Dawson, seen in Sin City, Grindhouse and The 25th Hour, will be voicing Lily Drawl, one of the rising stars of the EuroCorp corporation, who hides a deep internal struggle between her desire to rise on the corporate ladder and her resistance links.

Cox will be playing the part of Jack Denham, the power behind EuroCorp, a man who knows that his actions will shape the world that corporations exist in.

Mikael Nermark, who is the chief executive officer at developer Starbreeze Studios, stated, “Syndicate immerses players deep into a dystopian world of unscrupulous corporations and chip augmented enforcers. These agents are the weapons of this war for market dominance and we needed strong talent to represent these intense characters. We are honored to have worked with the incredible Rosario Dawson, Brian Cox and Michael Wincott to make this world come alive.”

Syndicate will be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on February 21 in the United States and three days later in Europe.
