Google's service must remove the video

YouTube is the most popular video service on the Internet and - since the Google acquisition - the most powerful solution in its category. YouTube allows you to upload your videos and share them with friends, family or other members of the community with the possibility of making comments. Because the service allows every user to upload his video, the company received a huge number of complaints and lawsuits that forced YouTube to remove movies and pay damages to the victims.

One of the most important lawsuits for YouTube was the one with Ronaldo's ex-wife Daniela Cicarelli who sued the company for publishing a video that presented the model having sex with her boyfriend. The video was one of the most viewed movies in Brazil and even if the company tried to remove some copies, multiple users reposted them.

"Cicarelli and boyfriend Tato Malzoni filed to force YouTube to take the video down and demanded $116,000 in damages for each day the video remains up. Some copies of the video have been taken off the site but users have reposted it. The case dragged on for several months before they filed a third suit in December requesting that YouTube be shut down as long as the video is available to users," Reuters reported.

Today, a Brazilian court decided that YouTube must be closed until it removes all the videos with Daniela Cicarelli from the website.

This is not Google's first problem caused by YouTube. Some time ago, the company was assaulted with a big number of lawsuits saying that the video service published movies without approval. Even if federal problems are continuously reported, Google wants to recover the investment made for YouTube and released TestTube, a new feature of the video service that allows users to test the new function before being released in the final version.
