Major news for AC Milan! Ronaldinho might agree talks for a move to San Siro. After failing to transfer Real Madrid's
Ronaldo, the Milanese officials received a boost earlier today from Ronaldinho's brother & agent, Roberto de Assis. The Footballer of the Year's agent admitted that a move to AC Milan has become "a possibility".
"The transfer of Ronaldinho to Milan is possible and would be bigger business for the team than the transfer of Ronaldo", said De Assis in a "Corriere dello Sport" interview. Why the sudden change of heart?
Well, rumor has it that Ronaldinho has an open conflict with Barca's coach, Frank Rijkaard. Following the Brazilian's poor form in the European SuperCup, the Dutchman refused to let his midfielder play in the Spanish League opener.
Of course, the official reason for Ronaldinho's absence was his alleged injury. According to Eurosport, though, a source inside the Catalan club gave the media the real reason for his absence: "He was being punished. Rijkaard was showing rules apply to everyone, no matter how big the star. But things are bad in the dressing room".
The 2006 FIFA Player of the Year has been linked to a move to AC Milan earlier this summer. Still, when asked if the Brazilian will get to play on San Siro, the Milan former boss, Adriano Galliani, answered: "Ronaldinho at Milan? Stop kidding me!".
