Ron Jeremy, known for his body of work in adult and mainstream movies, is currently in the hospital. He was rushed to the emergency room for an aneurysm located near his heart but has already had surgery and is believed to be doing better.

This should put rumors about how the 59-year-old star is practically on his death bed – which spread moments after word of his hospitalization came out – to rest.

So, yes, Jeremy is going to be just fine.

TMZ has it from his manager that he drove himself to an LA hospital to the emergency room after complaining of severe chest pains.

Doctors found the aneurysm near his heart and admitted him on the spot: Mike Esterman, the manager, told TMZ at the moment that his condition was “critical.”

“According to Esterman, Ron's condition has worsened and he was transferred to the ICU. He's currently being prepped for surgery,” the celebrity publication wrote.

However, in an update to the original story, TMZ happily notes that Jeremy has had surgery and is now doing better.

Everything went “smoothly” while he was under, and “Ron is now resting with complete privacy and no visitors,” Esterman says.

Further details on Jeremy’s condition are not available at this time, with Esterman refusing to comment.

However, given the star’s high public profile, even though he’s more or less retired from public life, and the interest news of his hospitalization sparked, chances are more info will be released soon.

Besides his work in movies (of one genre or the other), Ron Jeremy also gave reality television a go, starring in the series “The Surreal Life.”

His filmography includes over 2,000 titles.

These days, he’s mostly retired from the spotlight.

Keep an eye on this space for updates on this.
