A woman in Romania has been puzzling medics at a local hospital because her relatives can't get her to stop singing.

She was consulted by doctors at the Mavromati hospital in the town of Botosani, national newspaper Adevarul documents.

The 65-year-old woman has been blurting out the same three syllables to the tune of a traditional song. This has been going on for a week, and her family has not been able to feed her properly.

Her boyfriend describes that she has only started singing in the clinic. She was sleeping and woke up singing from a nightmare.

She had been taken to the hospital for her diabetes treatment, and doctors believe that she may have entered a form of diabetes-induced PTSD.

Her other symptoms suggest that she may be in a state of diabetic coma, but they still don't know how to stop the singing.
