This week’s Red Stripe Deals campaign comes with another exciting discount, this time for Roman Empire, a strategy game that works on both desktops and tablets.

Specifically designed for Windows 8.1, the title is now available with a $1.49 (€1.10) price tag, coming with 48 different maps, tutorials to help you figure out the purpose of each option, Facebook support, and full touch support.

“Roman Empire is a fast paced strategy game where you, as a new Caesar, will conquer Europe. You will have for it almost 500 years, starting in 753 BC and finishing when Rome was at its greatest extent - around 117 AD. Drag your units between cities to attack enemies or defend your cities from attack. To win, use the right tactic and take over all villages and cities,” the game description reads.

The price cut is available for three more days, as Microsoft refreshes the Red Stripe Deals campaign every week, so you need to hurry up a little bit if you want to buy it.

A trial version of the game is also available, allowing you to play the first 10 levels without any limitations, so go ahead and download Roman Empire for Windows 8.1 to see what it’s up to before buying the full version.
