Rolling Stone Magazine is out on iPad in Newsstand format “with all the breaking music news, hot album and movie reviews, must-read rock star profiles and in-depth national affairs reporting you love in the magazine,” Wenner Media, LLC has announced.

iPad owners who download the free Rolling Stone Magazine now get a one-month free trial subscription “packed with great writing, exclusive photos and instant streaming samples of the best new music in the world.”

If you decide to stick with the magazine you can buy a single issue for $4.99/€3.7, or get a one-month subscription for just $1.99/€1.4. A 1-year subscription sells for $19.99/€15.

All subscriptions start after the one-month free trial period, meaning you can download the magazine right now without any worries and decide if you want to pay later. The digital magazine requires iOS 4.3 or later.
