The death of a woman at Six Flags over Texas on Friday is currently under investigation. As I told you, the woman was in the Texas Giant when she fell to her death.

The ride is 14 stories high and a maximum of 24 tourists can get on it at any time. When it was debuted in 1990, it was built entirely out of wood. A million dollar renovation before 2011 made it safer. The wooden rails were replaced with other made out of steel.

Arlington police Sgt. Christopher Cook was on site but refused commenting to the AP. Six Flags over Texas is the oldest amusement park in the successful franchise.

Carmen Brown of Arlington, who was watching the woman being fastened as she was buying a ticket has described watching her fall off.

"She goes up like this. Then when it drops to come down, that's when it (the safety bar) released and she just tumbled," she describes.
