14 DAY TRIAL // Canadian carriers Rogers and Fido have just kicked-off an aggressive promo aimed at WIND Mobile and Mobilicity customers.
Starting March 27, both carriers are offering a $100 bill credit to customers porting number from Mobilicity or WIND Mobile to a Rogers or Fido account.
However, customers who want to take advantage of this offer would have to commit to a new three-year plan. The folks at MobileSyrup got their hands on a Rogers internal document that confirms customers will receive the $100 bill credit on their first or second month’s invoice.
The promotional deal seems to be Rogers’ response to its rivals’ recent offers. WIND Mobile and Mobilicity have their own number port in credit promos as well offering $100 and $150, respectively.
This is probably the main reason Rogers’ promo is targeting only these two carriers’ customers for the moment.
