Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers has just fired up its LTE network in the country, and announced the price tags for some of its first devices to offer support for it, namely the HTC Jetstream and the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE.

Currently listed on the wireless carrier's website as available for pre-order, the two devices should hit the shelves sometime in October or November.

The HTC Jetstream, for example, is listed there with a price tag of $799.99 (around 586 Euros) when purchased free of contract, and at $499.99 (around 366 Euros) with a 3-year contract.

The Jetstream was launched recently on the airwaves of AT&T in the United States, and is expected to hit the shelves at Rogers starting with October 18th, or later.

The tablet packs a dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor, 10.1-inch screen, 8MP camera on the back with full HD video recording capabilities, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs both LTE and WiFi connectivity capabilities.

As for the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, it should arrive at $199.99 (around 147 Euros) with a 3-year contract, and at $649.99 (about 477 Euros) if purchased contract free.

The high-end mobile phone is said to be on its way to Rogers' airwaves only in November, but nothing was confirmed on the matter for the time being.

The smartphone was packed with a fast dual-core application processor clocked in at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch touchscreen display, 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 16 GB of internal memory, GPS receiver, microSD card slot, and the like.

The Samsung Galaxy S II LTE was unveiled only several weeks ago, and Samsung already showcased it at the IFA 2011 trade fair in Berlin in early September, where we got hands-on time with it.

Both new devices run under Google's Android operating system, and both can be seen on the wireless carrier's website here.
