Canadian mobile phone users will soon be able to get a taste of Nokia’s first Windows Phones, as Rogers is gearing up for the release of Nokia Lumia 710.

The wireless carrier already made an official announcement on the matter, but did not unveil specifics on when the handset would hit shelves.

However, following reports on the possible $255 outright price tag the handset could sport, news on the first devices being delivered to the wireless carrier’s stores have started to emerge.

Some rumors suggest that February 6th could be the lucky day for enthusiasts, and the fact that units are being shipped appears to confirm that.

MobileSyrup notes that some stores might have already got green light to sell the device, yet nothing was made official as of yet. So we’ll have to wait for a formal announcement to be made to learn more on the matter.
